Somebody sent my hubby this article. It's a write-up of Gjelina by a local Southern California magazine based not too far from Venice. I'm sharing it with you for two reasons: 1) for those of you who haven't been to Gjelina, you can get a feel from the two photos what it looks like on the inside and 2) Fran and I are photographed together! For someone who rarely gets her picture taken, this is so fun for me, especially with just the two of us (I was pregnant with George at the time); yes, a bit self-indulgent but I can't help it!

This Beauty Deserves a Post of Her Own
I was really looking forward to photographing this sweet girl. At the end of our beach excursion I asked her mom if it would be alright if we went off by ourselves for a bit. Needless to say, working with her was so easy as she was a natural in front of the camera. Tanya, I hope you like these!

Landcruising
Oh my gosh, I have so many photos to post. I'm a tad overwhelmed by the quantity but am taking it one at a time. I got about 12 rolls of film developed and am in the midst of trying to get them all organized. My Michigan beach day still has images to go up.
One day G might possibly be in the driver's seat in Papa's '87 Landcruiser; the thing is such a tank it's totally possible..not very environmentally friendly, but still a possibility. For now, he rides in the back. And no, not in the back-back like we have him here, so don't worry.

Michigan Beach Day
Fooled ya! Nope, no 'Michigan' beach day but I do have a beach day here in California with a bunch of Michiganders; I was surrounded! The Demetral clan came for a visit and I hope had a grand time exploring all that Venice has to offer. We spent yet another lovely day on the water. Here's the proof:
