NYC

We've been meaning to get back for a while now.  During our trip to Michigan, Fran and I got to escape to one of my favorite places, New York City.  I just love it there, and I know I'm not alone.  The energy is beyond words, and every time I visit I leave wanting to pack up my family to make a new life for ourselves out there.
Tanya and Chris (from Michigan) and Vince and Katie (from Boston) went with us on our trip.  It was awesome to eat, drink, shop and sight-see with these folks.  We visited a number of great hotels: The Ace Hotel, Gramercy Park Hotel, and the new Gansevoort Hotel.  And we dined at some really cool and yummy places: Momofuku Ssam, The Breslin (more drinking), and the Vinegar Hill House (best reuben ever).  During our visit we stayed at The Bowery and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an hip yet cozy place to spend their trip.
I didn't take my Contax 645 on this trip and took the Fujifilm GF670 instead.  I intended on taking a ton of photos, but in the end, not so many.  I only took it out with me a couple of times and most of the time it stayed in my purse.  Bummer.
