Holiday Tears

This is what a 3-year-old boy looks like after you tell him for the fifth time he's got to stop eating all the candy intended for the gingerbread trains/house. Grinchy mom strikes again.
Taken this evening at the beginning of the decorating.

Hi. My name is Cash. I'm cute.

Or at least my Mama tells me so. (Too bad I don't sleep at night; I'd be the perfect baby.)

Baby Cash!

On July 27, 2011 at 4:01 p.m. I was reminded that the most joyous feeling in the world is the very first moment your new baby lays on your chest. Gjelosh Cash entered our lives at this time and his father and I will never be the same.  We are slowly but surely adjusting to life with three boys three and under and know that in no time at all they will be going on many adventures together.
His given name is Gjelosh Cash. In case you are wondering, which I am sure many of you are, this is an Albanian name and is pronounced Jeh-loash (hopefully I got that right).  I will be calling him Cash and his Papa will probably be calling him Gjelosh or Cash Money. I ruled out calling him Jelly. Little Cash weighed in at 7lbs. 11oz. and was 20 inches long. He's eating great and pooping a lot. James is slightly ambivalent to him but George constantly wants to "touch the bebe." Also, George has learned that some babies eat from "bubbies" and enjoys reminding me of this event. I don't really have any photos accessible right now but am picking up film tomorrow, so I'm hoping to get some more posted. These were shot with my Polaroid instant camera. Cash was three days old. Welcome to the world my sweet one!

My apologies for the dust on these scans; it's difficult to edit dust and feed a baby at the same time.

Happy Mother's Day!

Wishing all the wonderful Moms out there a lovely Mother's Day! I hope you were able to celebrate YOU today.
Here's a photo of me and my boys taken a few days ago. They were definitely uncooperative and unhappy to be standing there, so it's the best I got. Plus, they are in colder weather attire and I'm in, as Fran called it, my wedding dress.
I keep thinking I'll pull out of my pregnancy fatigue and be able to post to this blog more often, but it seems I'm stricken until August. Bear with me, I'll make up for it. Promise.

Happy 1st Birthday, Georgeous!

I missed my George today.  I had to work later than anticipated and didn't get home as planned because I was searching for a birthday hat.  I went to three different stores with no luck.  In the end, we did without.  And in the end, it didn't make an once of difference.  Little Georgeous had not a clue he wasn't wearing a birthday hat.  We ate a yummy, healthy dinner in the backyard; and we sang our official one-year-old the Happy Birthday song over Elmo cupcakes.  He was delighted, yet at the same time, slightly uninterested (unless you count the candle).
Gosh, I love this boy so much.  I am so excited for him and looking forward to how his life unfolds.  Happy Birthday, my sweet, sweet, Georgeous George!

One

In just a few short days, my littlest punkin' will be ONE.  I can hardly believe it.
I just can't get me enough of my Georgeous George!

Polaroid 600SE

I got my hands on a super cool Polaroid 600SE; instant film by Fuji.  I brought it with me on our Gloucester vacation but had zero time to figure out how to even work the camera.  After some help from my FIND folks, I started snapping away.  I've been trying to crank these things out and had a general idea of how to scan the negative.  Still working on my dust issue, but here are two that I have worked on and very excited to play around more!
